Accidents and Astrology ~ How to Predict Accidents through Astrology

An accident or mishap is an unforeseen, unplanned, unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm. When a person meets with an accident and afterwards goes through the mental trauma, the 1st thing that comes to his mind on recovering is that he is having a bad time and/or the planetary positions are not favourable to him. Everything that happens in the life of an individual is influenced by Planets. Road accidents have become quite common these days due to increase in traffic on the roads. In my opinion most of these accidents can be avoided and a good astrologer can advices better how to avoid these high risks moments of life.

While analysing the horoscope, the following main points should be taken into consideration to find out whether the native is prone to accidents. 

       ·        sign lord of Ascendant, Moon and the Sun in the birth chart. 

·        disposition of the planets in the signs.

·        strength of Asc, Moon and Sun. 

·        Divisional Charts D1, D9. 

·        Transit Chart. 

For accidents we check 4^th, 8^th, 12^th houses in the horoscope. 4th house signifies the end of all matters, vehicles and it also signifies fatality in accidents. 8th house signifies the longitivity, long term diseases, sorrow and it also signifies accidents. 12th house signifies the losses, hospitals, bed and it also signifies accidents. Ascandent, Sun, Moon also play an important role in determining whether the native is prone to accidents. Shashtamsha (D-6) chart also indicates accidents. 6^th house is one of the malefic house which also indicates accidents.

Rising sign at birth time also play an important role. People born in Aries ascendant are the most prone to accidents then Virgo born natives. Aries lagna born natives have access of energy which they can’t control. Aries is impulsive and fast. Pisces ascendant born natives are also prone to accidents as they can’t take decisions quickly due to their weak reflex action. Libra ascendant born natives are well balanced and hence they are not generally prone to accidents. The signs most prone to accidents are in fact the mutable signs; these are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. The Jupiter ruled signs Sagittarius and Pisces, commonly indicate careless accidents, and the Mercury ruled signs Gemini and Virgo are prone to diseases of the mind. In short, natives born with Ascendants in the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Aquarius) are less prone to accidents. They do not like changes, experimentation and hence they follow a fixed routine which probably is the reason.

Planets Mars and Saturn Rahu ketu are associated with Accidents. Mars is the symbol of getting hurt. Mars is the lord of blood and violence, firearms, weapons. Rahu gives sudden events in life. So It represent suddenness/sudden accidents in life. Venus role is also important when it comes to accidents by vehicle. Venus is the karaka of vehicles. Saturn is responsible for the accidents occurred by iron or machines. Mars is responsible for the accidents occurred due to fire or explosion/explosive material. Saturn also responsible for the accidents occurred due to animals. Moon is responsible for the accidents happened by water. Ketu in the 8thth house causes accidents. The planet Mercury rules transport in our immediate environment including bikes, scooters, cars, etc. For any immediate transport accident we look to Mercury, Gemini, or the 3rd house. For long distance travel we look to Sagittarius, Jupiter or the 9th house. 

The position of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto is also said to be vital when it comes to accidents. Uranus the planet of surgery and sudden accidents. Usually accidents of a "weird" or unusual nature. Uranus in the first house seems to attract accidents.  Neptune indicates drowning accidents . Pluto indicates violent accidents. In astrology Mars/Saturn is the combination of ended energy and Pluto/Ascendant is the symbol of dangerous situations. Moon plays an important role in accidents of childhood as Moon refers to childhood.  If you are suffering from frequent accidents and injuries, then most probably any of the below given conditions should hold true and it can be averted by following suitable remedies.

Natives who are prone to accidents can have some specific placement of planets or planetary combinations in their birth chart.  Position of Rahu and Mars in ascendant or in 2^nd house, Mars or Saturn in ascendant, mars or Saturn in 3^rd house, mars or Saturn in 5^th house, Mars and Saturn in 2/12, 6/8 combinations, Saturn, Moon, Mars in 2^nd, 4^th , 10^th , 12^th Houses, afflicted 4^th house and 10^th house. Accidents may also occur during the Dasha and bhukti of maraka and badhaka lords or planets placed therein. For the timings of accident dasha period needs to be checked upto sooksham level. When these combinations are connected with the accident prone houses (4,8,12) give accidents or hospitalization during its period. Connection with 6^th house can also give accidents. This event of accident may be happened in the dasha of Markesh (2^nd or 7^th ), bhukti of 2^nd or 7^th and pratyanter of 6^th or 8^th lord.

Timing of accident:

Transit also play an important role in deciding the timing of accident. Transit must support dasha periods. Accidents occur during the transit of malefic planets connected to malefic houses in the horoscope or the birth position of sun, moon and ascendant.

Check accidents through KP system:

Houses 8^th and 12^th for accidents: 8^th serious illness, accident, suicide; 12^th  self-undoing, confinement in bed or hospital, defects, deformities, amputation or mutilation of a limb, bodily injury. Mars, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu cause accidents. If the sub lord of either the Ascendant or the 8th house cusp is posited in the star of the occupant or the owner of the 8th or 12th house, there will be an accident. The danger to the individual's life will likely prove fatal  if the sub lord is in the star of either the occupant or the owner of the 8th, 7th, or 2nd. The individual will survive the accident if the sub lord is in the star of either the occupant or owner of the 2nd, 7th, and 11th.

In example chart native had an accident dated 01/10/2013 on Tuesday. Native was running Rahu-Mars-Mars. Rahu in 10^th in Cancer aspecting Moon in 4^th with retrograde mercury lord of 12^th. Mars in 12^th in Virgo lord of two maraka houses aspecting 6^th and 7^th houses. Mars is being aspected by Ketu from 4^th house. Mars Saturn have 2/12 relationship here. In chalit chart Mars is with Saturn in 11^th house and Rahu with Jupiter causing bad yoga. So here is the connection between Mars Rahu Saturn with accident houses.

Now check with the KP system. 8^th house sublord is Mars (sgnL mer, SL sun, ST ra (me-sa)) signifies 2,4,7,8,11,12 indicating native is prone to accident. At the time of accident native was running Rahu-Mars-Rahu. Rahu is the planet of sudden events. Rahu is placed in 10^th house with retrograde planet mercury. Rahu signifies 4 (vehicle),9,10,11(badhkesh),12(hospital). Mars signifies 8 (accident), 10, 2 (maraka), 7(maraka). Yet Libras are well balanced but mars is the major significator of accident and posited in mute sign Virgo.
