2^nd house indicates family while 11^th house indicates fulfilment of desires. 5^th house is for love, romance. 7 ^th house represent marriage. 8^th house denotes happiness from marriage. 12^th house represent bed pleasures. When we want to know about spouse we need to study  7th house, its lord, karaka of 7^th house, planets placed in the 7^th house, planets aspecting 7^th house etc. For this we need to find out that which planet influences the 7th house most. When 7th lord and its karaka is posited in an even sign, it signifies about wife which will be with feminine virtues.7th lord and Venus is in benefic houses in benefic signs or benefic planet is in 7th house without malefics influence gives beautiful wife. 7^th lord and Karak position in an odd sign signifies about wife of masculine virtues.
