No Child (childlessness) ~ Denial
of Children in Astrology
Though the times have
changed but Hindu consider ‘childlessness’ to be a great sin.
Childlessness can also be judged in Astrlogy. Aries, Gemini, Leo, and Virgo are called the barren
or sterile signs. Barren signs on the cusps of the 5th and 11th houses and the
lords of these not posited in fruitful signs, the Moon not in a fruitful sign,
the lagna not in a fruitful sign, the lord of the lagna not posited in a
fruitful sign, and no fruitful planet in the 5th or 11th house, are indications
of childlessness.
When 5th lord/5th house is
connected to malefics and barren signs or connected with Saturn, Rahu or Ketu without
any benefic aspects then there would be no child to the native. The denial of
children could be due to curses incurred in the past birth. These have been
elaborately listed in Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra along with the
remedial measures and include Brahma Shaap, Pitru Shaap, Maatri Shaap, Shatru
Shaap etc. Brahma Shaap is related to Jupiter, the putrakaraka in Astrology.
When Rahu connected to Jupiter or Rahu in the signs of Jupiter it represents
the curses of past birth due to priest, judge, teacher or astrologer as Rahu is
a karmic control planet. When Jupiter conjunct or aspected by Mars and Saturn,
results of Jupiter get delayed or denied. 9th lord should be in
malefic house specially 8th house to confirm the curse and denial of
the fruits of Jupiter. Sun, Moon or Jupiter and the 5th lord, placed in the malefic house specially in
8th house under malefic influence will deny child birth. Jupiter placement
in the 5th house under
malefic influence (conjoined or aspected) the 6th lord will constitute a curse
from a Brahmin due to anger or enmity.
If the 2nd house and or 5th house in the sign of Mercury or of Saturn, the person may not have progeny. If Saturn and Mercury stay conjunct in the 2ndhouse and / or 5th house, the person may not have progeny. If the lord of 2nd house and or 5th house is conjunct with Saturn or Mars, the person may not have progeny. Planet in own sign does not deny child birth. In any horoscope it is not beneficial if the houses 1, 2, 5 and 9 and / or lords of those houses are associated with Saturn and or Mercury. Then the person may not have progeny of their own. If Jupiter is well placed and strong the person will have an adopted child. Confirm the above combinations in divisional charts also as it gives the micro picture of the related event.

Remedies
Different
remedies are there which can be opted as per the requirement of the couple like
mantra for begetting children, havana, gemstones, rudraksha, puja etc. Proper
remedies can be performed by consulting the astrologer.
