चंद्र ग्रहण ( Lunar Eclipse ) September 16-17, 2016
Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth and Moon are perfectly
aligned. The Earth is sitting in the middle, when the Moon is on the far side
of the Earth from the Sun and there is a Full Moon. A Full Moon occurs when the transit Sun
and Moon are exactly opposing one another in the zodiac. A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse occurs when the
Earth moves between the Sun and Moon but the three celestial bodies do not form
a perfectly straight line. The Moon then travels through the outer part of the
Earth's shadow (penumbra). This means that all of the Moon's visible surface still
receives some direct sunlight, but the Earth obscures parts of the Sun, as seen
from the Moon.
A Lunar
Eclipse tends to bring completion or endings. On a Lunar Eclipse something will
end and on a Solar Eclipse something will begin. The Sun opposite the Moon,
lights up the Moon and brings previously unexamined areas of your life into
awareness. You can finally make decisions about issues that you have been
thinking about. A Lunar Eclipse can be felt as early as two weeks prior to the
Eclipse itself and can last up to 6 months to a year. Lunar Eclipses are more
emotional because it happens on a Full Moon, two houses in your natal chart
will be affected. If this Eclipse is going to be occurred in your Moon sign or
on your Ascendant you will find a little anxious before and after 48 hrs of lunar
eclipse. If this Eclipse is going to be occurred in your Moon sign or on your
Ascendant you will find a little anxious before and after 48 hrs of lunar
eclipse. Eclipses usually herald
major endings and/or beginnings, depending on where they occur in our natal
birth charts. In all lunar eclipses, we
need to check two sensitive points, namely the placement of the Moon and Sun,
which are opposing each other.
The last
Lunar Eclipse was a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on March 23,
2016. In India only ending was visible. The next lunar eclipse will also be Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on September 16-17, 2016. It
will be visible for everyone in Asia and Australia, Europe, Africa, West in
South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica, India.
