Moon rules Cancer sign, the 4th
sign of the zodiac. 4th house in horoscope represents mother, mind,
domestic happiness etc. Cancer is Mooltrikon sign of Moon but it is exalted in
Taurus and debilitated in Scorpio. Scorpio is the 8th sign of Horoscope. 8th
house is one of the trik houses considered to give bad effects on the life of
individual. So whenever Moon is posited in 8th house it is supposed to give malefic
results for the 4th House of domestic happiness and peace of mind.
Chandrashtama denotes a period when the moon transit to your 8th house from
your zodiac sign. Moon
takes one month to complete its transit through all 12 zodiac signs and stays approximately two and half days in each of
zodiac signs. Chandrashtama period stands of 2.5 days of each month.
Moon is the planet nearest to the Earth so it effects can be felt quickly
by the natives. It is the only planet in the solar system which revolves round
the Earth. Moon has no lights of its own. It shines by the reflected light of the
Sun. Sun represents individuality whereas Moon shows personality. Hence on Chandrashtama
the person under the 8th rulership of Moon in transit becomes timid,
have unwanted fear, negativity, some kind of unwanted agitation or irritation.
This will mostly cause depression, sometimes unwanted anger and not having a
clear mind.
